Why CraftDyne exists
Conventional crop protection has asked farmers to accept a trade-off: control the pest, and accept what the chemistry leaves behind in the soil, the water and the food chain. CraftDyne was founded in 2023 on the premise that this trade-off is a design problem, not a law of nature.
Our work starts from the IUPAC Green Chemistry principles rather than adapting to them afterwards. That means designing molecules that do their job in the field and then break down cleanly, instead of taking an existing active ingredient and trying to soften its edges.
We are based in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, in the middle of the farming communities our products are made for. That proximity is deliberate: it keeps development anchored to how growers actually spray, what equipment they own, and what a season really costs them.
